Changes to policy regarding Unaccompanied Minors -UMNR

Dear Travel Partner,


Please be advised that some changes to Unaccompanied Minors (UMNR) policy will be effective on 1 SEP,2010.

1. Children over the age of 5 and under the age of 14 on date of travel who fly alone MUST be identified as Unaccompanied Minors (UMNR).

This means that children under the age of 14 may no longer fly unaccompanied without purchasing the UMNR service.

The PNR must reflect UMNR SSR and payment for service applies.

2. The UMNR handling fee has been increased from USD75 to USD100.
This charge is per flight.

If more then one UMNR is flying from the same family - only one charge of USD100 will apply.
