Reminder of LY UMNR policy changes
Please be reminded of the following updates to UMNR policy, implemented last year:
1. Children over the age of 5 and under the age of 15 on date of travel who fly unaccompanied must be identified as UMNR. This means that children aged 13 & 14 may no longer fly unaccompanied without purchasing the UMNR service. The PNR must reflect UMNR SSR, correct Dob, and payment for service applies.
2. The UMNR handling fee has been raised to USD100. This charge is per fight. If more than one UMNR is flying from the same family – only one charge of USD100 will apply.
3. Unaccompanied minors (UMNR) are not permitted on connecting flights.
